He has advanced degrees from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Arizona. Known for his innovative drive and leadership, he is dedicated to elevating the industry through research and pedagogy. His global exposure, with technical tours across several countries, informs his leadership in fostering operational excellence and sustainable mining practices. Pedro Solis
With over 25 years of experience in the mining sector, Pedro Solís has led the Finance and Commercial departments at Cia de Minas Buenaventura, one of Peru's most prominent mining companies. Currently serving as General Manager at ASG Consulting, Pedro develops and leads various consultancy and commercial agency projects. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an MBA from Universidad del Pacífico, complemented by postgraduate studies in Financial Management at Stanford University (USA) and General Management at Harvard Business School (USA).
